This is an absolutely beautiful rendition of the infamous Jin Xuan (golden lily) cultivar. Organic, massive leaves, from Meishan, at high altitudes, provide endless steps of floral tang and velvety texture on the palette. This tea is very very creamy, and opens up to higher floral notes throughout the later steepings. We almost had to tap out on this tea because it would not stop brewing.
Water Temp: 188-208F
Amount: 4-7g tea, 140-200ml Pot
(Fill teapot with water for 3 seconds, and dispose of water to rinse leaves)
1st Infusion: 10-12 seconds.
2nd Infusion: 12-16 seconds
3rd Infusion: 14-22 seconds
4th Infusion: 20-30 seconds
5th Infusion: 30+ seconds (add 20 or more seconds of any subsequent infusions after 5)
